One of the most glorious landscapes on earth is Yosemite dressed in its fall wardrobe. Beautiful reflections of warm colors come out of the now still waters of the Merced River creating wonderful photographic compositions. The contrast of the cool blue tones of the granite cliffs against the warm orange and yellows of the dogwoods create awe inspiring visual images. The summer crowds have disappeared making for a more relaxed experience. Our workshop will be limited to only eight participants giving me the opportunity to spend the time with individualized instruction and encouragement.

Itinerary: Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. – hotel check-in and brief orientation before heading out for our first shoot at dusk. We will be hosting a bbq dinner back at the hotel to finish off the evening. Friday-Sunday we will experience dawn and dusk photo shoots with mid-day instruction and image critique. Instructional classes will cover the three C's of creative image making, Communication, Composition, and Craftsmanship including one session on Adobe Photoshop. Also you will receive a course workbook, Seeing with new eyes.

Accommodations: We will have a block of rooms reserved at the Yosemite Cedar Lodge, (209) 379-2612, for you to make reservations. Non-participating loved ones or friends may share your room, but they will not be allowed to join us in the field during the workshop.

Meals: Meals are not included, however we encourage eating together to build relationships with other participants.
